Join Our Non-Pro Rider Development Program

Take Your Riding—and Your Horsemanship—to the Next Level

If you’ve ever felt like your horse is capable of more, but you’re not quite sure how to get there, this program is for you.

The Grazier Performance Horses Non-Pro Rider Development Program is designed for everyday riders who want to become more confident, capable horsemen—not just get through the next ride or prepare for the next show. Through personalized instruction, ongoing feedback, and a structured approach to improvement, we’ll help you better understand your horse, sharpen your skills, and build a stronger partnership in and out of the show pen.

Build the Skills That Make a Difference

This program is designed to help you:

  • Gain confidence in your riding and your decision-making

  • Improve your timing and feel so you can communicate more clearly with your horse

  • Understand what your horse needs and why, instead of guessing what to work on

  • Improve your performance and scores in the show pen

  • Develop greater consistency from one ride to the next

  • Build a stronger partnership with your horse

  • Create a clear path forward toward your individual riding and showing goals

No Ego. No Pressure. Just Better Horsemanship.

We keep the program small so every rider gets the individual attention they deserve. Whether you want to show with more confidence, improve your scores, or simply become a better partner for your horse, we’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward. If you’re willing to put in the work, we’ll meet you there.

more than lessons

Personalized Coaching: No two horse-and-rider combinations are the same. Your lessons are tailored to where you and your horse are now, what you’re working through, and where you want to go.

Video Feedback Between Ride: Progress doesn’t only happen during lessons. Video feedback gives you professional insight between rides, helping you recognize what’s working, make adjustments, and continue improving on your own.

Structured Rider Development: Rather than treating each lesson as a standalone session, we’ll help you build on what you’ve learned with a clear plan for long-term progress. The goal is to help you become a more knowledgeable, independent, and effective rider.

Supportive Atmosphere: You don’t need to be a professional to take your riding seriously. You just need to be willing to learn, put in the work, and keep improving.

Traditional One-Off Lessons

starting at $125 per lesson + $15 haul in fee

Whether you’re new to riding, or working with a new-to-you horse, lessons give you the fresh eyes necessary to improve your position, aids, and communication. Lessons are geared toward preparing individuals to be competitive at local and national NRHA, NRCHA, and AQHA shows. I offer private and semi-private riding lessons (max 3 riders). Sessions include roughly 30 minutes of grooming, saddling, etc. and 60 minutes or riding instruction.

Note: Lesson priority is given to students in our Non-Pro Rider Development Program.

No lesson horses available, but I’m always happy to facilitate the lease or purchase of appropriate horses.
